OriginalDaveed brings back a refreshing, blast-from-the-past sound with his new release, ‘Many Many’. ‘Many Many’ is a Pseudo-Reggae song, that embodies the style and aura of Daddy Showkey’s music; a legendary Nigerian artiste popular in the 90s.

In his modern translation of this Nigerian-Reggae, he fashions in an Afro-hadurah singing style, with an undertone of Afrobeats, making the veteran music genre, both new and familiar.

OriginalDaveed does a fantastic job of experimenting with this sound and is a bold refreshing step away from the usual, traditional Afrobeat of Afro-pop.

With ‘Many Many’, he soft launches true, suburban, ghetto-music back to listening ears. The track has a killer melody and a strong feel of the Yoruba culture. The musical composition is also a beauty to behold. From its flute to its unique percussion, it is a journey all the way.

Another beauty of ‘Many Many’ is that it is easily enjoyable by any crowd, be it loyal fans of Daddy shoki, people of the streets or the common man, ‘Many Many’ is a song for many many people, for everyone and anyone.
