Lareez; the hottest duo currently spurring our listens, have spun the block and dropped another banger titled; ‘Omolomo’. Still reeling off the steaming success of their last EP “Freebies 2.0”, The music duo released a new amapiano track on the 13th of June, 2024.
‘Omolomo’ is a party anthem with a promising vibe of a good time. It is a conundrum of lovely rhythm and a sweet flow between the two vocalists who create perfectly together, a seamless harmonious sound.
The duo was brought to life in the year 2011, comprising of artistes Adewale Isiaka Sanni and Edward Seyi Larunsi. They were born on January 31st and November 10 respectively, and formed their music group for a high school competition. However, what was conceived for the sake of a mere high school competition was later on molded into a professional music career for both men who have stuck to each other ever since. Lareez, hold quite the versatile standard as far as music styles and genres go.

Though they mostly work on Afrobeats, they are still highly influenced by other continental sounds like Reggae, trap and RnB. Their new single ‘Omolomo’ is now out on all streaming platforms.
