LAREEZ BLESSES US WITH A NEW 2 PACK: "FREEBIES 2.0"

The unstoppable musical duo Lareez, was brought to life in the year 2011, comprising of artistes Adewale Isiaka Sanni and Edward Seyi Larunsi. What was conceived for the sake of a high school competition, molded into a professional music career for both men who stuck to each other ever since, to become the group we hear today. LaTOUCHED, in 2011, alongside two follow-ups, BAMIJO and ROLL 4 ME in 2012. In 2015, the Nigerian singers came second in the White Xmas competition hosted by Jemima Events and MTV Base, with the release of their song LIFE, which amassed thousands of streams.This year, the duo has released a brand new Ep titled Freebies 2.0

Kosowo:

A notable uniqueness about Lareez, is their ability to carry a nostalgic feel into their music. Blending in the old and new, The first song  kosowo takes you back to the old Nigerian music era, a reminiscent of great artistes like 9ice, Faze, Terry g and others, still carrying with it, its own distinct modernity. The track features Tushbeat, with a powerful hook that speaks on their musical journey, the hustle and the gratitude for the grace of God.

ALAYE:

This Afro fusion track “Alaye” features producer, ELI D GREAT. The yoruba word, “Alaye” is often used by Nigerians and it translates to “Powerful Person”. The song buttresse the point as it shows the power and versatility of Lareez as they cross pollinate Afrobeats and Trap in multiple languages and diverse cultures. It is a very energetic song, which resonates with the streets and just like Kosowo, it serves as a means of motivation to the hustlers. Alaye speaks on “Who gets what, when and how?”, involving how many should be made, invested and conserved.
