His passion for music began at an early age and was shaped by his surroundings and personal experiences. Growing up in Ikorodu, he was exposed to various genres from Afrobeats to Hip-hop, which helped him conjure his style.

Jhozi’s music can be described as a fusion of Afro-beats, Pop, R&B, and contemporary styles that create an infectious, energetic sound. His lyrics often center on feelings of hope, resilience, and self-empowerment, drawn from his journey and observations.

His latest single; ‘Koleyewon’, Produced by FadeTheVenom, can be classified as a distinct, soulful Afro-piano track; a combination of Afro-beats, Afro-soul and Amapiano music. ‘Koleywon’, which means (They can’t understand), promotes a winner’s mindset. For Jhozi, knowing you can’t please anyone and everyone gives you the courage to be yourself, to exist in your own weird way

It gives you the power to take on the world, to paint the picture as big as you would like it to be painted.
