FADE-VENOM steps in with nothing short of a bang, on his recently released two-pack EP. The CiDAR producer/songwriter has given us just a taste of what to expect. On this trailblazing personal debut EP, the creative shows his musical prowess on the two tracks “Fimile” and “Can I Take You Home”
FIMILE:
FIMILE is a beautiful Amapiano track fused with elements of Afro-house music, a perfect blend with the enchanting voice of the artiste. This song is both a love plea and an expression of heartache. It explains the problems of loving a city girl who can’t commit to the love offered to her, turning it down to be free to “Jaye”. Both artiste and producer make a rejection and heartbreak sound so intoxicating. The music moves both body, heart, and soul. On one hand, you are moved by the gutting lyrics, on the other hand you are moved quite literally by the music; A commanding spell to dance. With this track we learn that it is possible to feel multiple things at once, to experience heartbreak and the need to groove through it all, allowing that balance to coax us into a steady rhythm. Whoever she is, might not want his love but we definitely want this music.
CAN I TAKE YOU HOME:
“Can I take you home”, is just as enchanting. The amapiano vibes continue on this track in such an ecstatic way. The drums, are the most exciting part of the music, stacked to have you catching their sounds everywhere you turn. You can almost see the music floating around in your head. Can I take you Home, is music for anyone and everyone in any mood/zone
