CiDAR radar is back and better!
Hi music lovers, What have you been up to? Over here, we are very excited to tell you what the CiDAR team and our artistes have been up to!
As a brand that flows in all things music, It is no news that CiDAR Africa houses its own powerhouse of talents. Come along with us today on the journey of exploration, as we shine the beamlight on some of these creatives and their new releases!
MOLAZZI:
The young and talented Nigerian artiste, Molazzi, took us by storm with his hit single Vaccine, in the year 2021. It was such a perfect, soft summer jam and the singer/songwriter clearly took things earnestly, and has made it clear with the hook of Vaccine that “You can’t kill my vibe”.
Truly, the artist has remained an indomitable essence in the world of music. He has recently dropped his new EP titled ‘Orinlazzi’. Maintaining his vibe, the Orinlazzi title, is actually borne out of his name Molazzi alongside a fusion of the Yoruba word ‘Orin’, which translates to ‘song’ in English.
Following his first project, this sophomore EP is quite dear to him. On Orinlazzi, Molazzi aims to give his listeners the best experience as he brings in the familiarity of afrobeat and a newness of rhythm, by infusing in some African-folk sounds.
On the first track called ‘HURRAY, Molazzi features the Boma Mine, a native group of geriatric female singers. On this track, Molazzi introduces us to a cultural and indigenous side of African music. He takes us through a journey of Molazzi, his expression, and his music. If you loved the Vaccine singer, you should check out more of his sounds and what he’s been up to.
TOBI ADU:
From dropping the incessant sounds of Claro, Tobi Adu has moved a step further telling us ‘Not yet! Not too much now. I’m here to stay’, by taking Claro to the next level. Yes, you heard right, the artiste has dropped a remix with even stronger vibes that you are bound to love and has featured the infamous Bad Boy Timz. The afro-soul song captures his soft vocals, an infectious rhythm, and strong lyricism. Bad Boy Timz’s rap verse, is the cherry on the top.
AYO MAFF:
The new king of what one can only define as a pleasurable and beautiful Yoruba soul has newly dropped a remix this November to his hit song Jama Jama, this time featuring Diamond Jimma. If there’s one thing about this artiste, it’s his earnest ability to spread a raw kind of vulnerability in his music. There is an earnestness to his voice that makes his music worth listening to and the remix is even more spiritual than the last. A transcendent listen. Keeping busy, the artiste has also dropped the lyric video of “Another Day” from his Ep. He has recently released a teaser of his unreleased song, Saro as well, inspired by the sensational Anikulapo movie and as he's hinted on his Instagram, it will most likely feature on his EP. Expect nothing but the best and hits after hits from Ayo Maff. In the meanwhile, check out his music here and transcend with us!
SON OF BELL:

SonOfBell has also previously worked with other Nigerian artists such as Lil Kesh, on ‘Marama’ and Kuddi on ‘Matter’, to name but a few. He is just the kid of artist you should never sleep on.

OG Mage is back and better with his Highly anticipated second music project. A feel of freshness, after blessing us with his previous and debut “Alter Ego”. In the new and improved EP, “Up to No Good”, he takes us on quite the journey. Ranging his music from different thematic expressions like gratitude, love, confidence, and strength. OG MAGE is an Afro-fusion artiste, who mixes Afro-beat music with other musical genres/styles such as Hip-hop and rap. He brings a form of creativity, energy, and style to the music world.
