Chuka Solace Kamanu, born July 24th, is an artist from Abia state, Nigeria,  who grew up in the vibrant city of Lagos where his love for music  began to take shape. Chuka’s journey into the spotlight started in 2012 as a finalist on Airtel’s Nigeria’s Got Talent, and by 2014, he was making waves with his underground hit “Puna”. That same year, he featured on Olamide’s OT album, with the track “Usain Bolt P”, solidifying his place in Nigeria’s music industry.

A true all-round creative, Chuka raps, sings, and writes, blending these talents to craft an eclectic sound that is uniquely his. His music taps into the rich tradition of Afrobeat while pulling from a wide range of influences to create something entirely fresh and personal.

After taking some time to fine-tune his craft and explore new musical horizons, Chuka is back with his latest single, "Good Life". This track fuses the timeless rhythms of old-school highlife, inspired by legends like Chief Stephen Osita Osadebe, with the vibrant energy of modern Afrobeats. On this track, Chuka is determined to look above the bad situations and is moving on journey of attracting positive things only. From the first verse to the Chorus, the artiste manifests only the pure things; peace and the Good Life for him and the people around him

The next verse is a deep collection of wise words and advice he shares with his listeners. He sings about the strong forces determined to pull one down in today’s society. From a bad government to trigger happy policemen on the run for innocent people, it is truly difficult to survive in Lagos without being alert or smart. Yet, as he puts it, the only thing left is to continue despite the struggle, work hard and focus on making money. The song is brought to a close with a scintillating rap verse by King Romeo and a closing return to the hook by Chuka.

For Chuka, music is more than just sound—it's an experience. “I want people to journey through my mind while they listen to my songs. I need them to feel what I felt, to live their fantasies through my music," he says. "Good Life" is the start of that journey, an invitation to explore the rich world of his imagination.

Check out “Good Life” and connect with the positive vibrations from Chuka and King Romeo
