Bahdman Niko features Bella Shmurda on his new track “Delilah”

Adam Ademola Olawepo (Bahd Man Niko) was born on17 March 1997 in Ajegunle Lagos Nigeria. He studied at Kwara State polytechnic, which not only equipped him academically but also played a huge role in his artistic evolution. The young artiste stands out for his unique energy and approach to music. He embodies this vibey, street music style that’s hard to replicate, and a nicely paced rhythm that’s always so easy to follow and sing along to.

His journey in music is deeply rooted in the heart of Nigeria, and it began with his early years shaped by the cultural setting of his native land. He makes sounds that are easy to latch on to and quick to fall in love with, making his listeners feel like a part of the music experience. Niko’s challenges and experiences helped form the bedrock of his musical identity. His initial attempt at music was influenced by the traditional sounds of Kuwete, a genre that resonates with the works of artists like Daddy shoky, Baba Fryo and Marvelous Benji. These artists helped him develop his stylistic expression which he calls Afrodagbana, also inspired by modern artistes like Olamide, Reminisce, and Burna Boy.

On his newest track ‘Delilah’, he gives us a taste of his usual street style flow, featuring Bella Shmurda this time, whose high pitched vocals act as a perfect complement to his low tones.

As an artiste he aspires to create music tjat tells realistic stories, echoing the lives and experiences of his listeners. His collaborations with other ‘voices of the streets’, have further enriched his musical repoertoire, versatility and commitment to authenticity.
