 Dekoad: Baller

Dekoad, birth name ‘Korede Olajide Adetuji’, is a 20 year-old young artiste from Ile Ife, Osun State. Born in Lagos and raised in Ibadan, the artiste stands as the firstborn in a family of 2 siblings. His passion for music was ignited in his secondary school years. In 2020, he started sharing his freestyles on Instagram, which eventually paved the way for his big breaks in 2024. Check out his breakout single, ‘Baller’, which marks the start of his rise in the music scene.

13bxdmxn: Xoxo

Hot, dynamic, and undefeated, the eclectic trio 13bxdmxn, is back with a new single called, ‘XOXO’. The trio remains the undisputed bad guys of good and iconic rap. Each member of the group brings a distinctive style, influence, and strength to the table. 13 Lanki’s lyrical depth, 13DC’s lyrical melodic sensibilities, and Till’s silky vocals alongside his innovative production techniques make the dream work. Their new single ‘XOXO’ is a creative collage of different elements, so good that it makes it nearly impossible to tell where one ends and one begins. With Drill and trap sounds as an underlying foundation, they mix in elements of pop music, techno, and much more. They take the music experience, a step further for listeners, with their insane lyrical prowess and the powerful flow. XOXO.

Boii Lamba & Vinny Eva: Toxi-city

Picture of Boii Lamba

Boii Lamba & Vinny Era work together on a new afro-pop single called, ‘Toxi-city’. The song is a beautiful and satirical track on the issues of navigating modern relationships with a soft heart. It touches on practically every phase; the shame one is forced to feel, the negative cycle it creates, and the transformation of becoming a hard guy in the face of love. It is all about surviving the lover-boy side of you and never losing yourself in the process. Check out the lovely new single, ‘Toxi-city’ and enjoy the artistes sharing their wonderful, realistic, and sadly relatable experiences.

Minz: By Any Minz

Picture of Minz

Born and raised in Surulure, in the heart of Lagos, Minz is slowly becoming one of the most iconic and promising voices to emerge from the Nigerian music scene. The eclectic singer, producer and songwriter has defiantly built a universe for himself and his core fans, that rebels against the very idea of conforming to “industry standards”. The ‘Wowo’ star is determined to make a sound that is very true to him. He describes his genre as “very wavy music with an underlying rhythm of Afrobeats” and that is truly the perfect classification for his new album ‘By any Minz’. Proving his stance on non-conforming, the album is an exploration of different wavy sounds with undertones of Afrobeats, making it impossible to streamline the artist to just one community. One particularly interesting thing about the album ‘By any Minz’, is that you never know what to expect with each song. Each track is built differently, uniquely beautiful making it easy for listeners to note that every one is special. Check out ‘By Any Minz’.

Fola & BNXN: Alone remix

Picture of Fola

After the release of the sweet and steady rhythm ‘Alone’ (featuring Bhad Boi OML) Fola is back to the scene with Alone remix ft BNXN. One thing about the artiste, is that he knows just how well to match any and everybody’s energy. We are stunned by his ability to make ‘Alone’ even much sweeter than it already was. Truly, seeing is believing, and it’s just as easy to see that the young artiste is here to stay and leave his imprint in the world of Nigerian music. Check out ‘Alone remix’ by Fola ft BNXN.

Bims: Unorthodox Ep

Picture of Bims

Young new artiste, Bims has just released a powerful new EP, called ‘Unorthodox’ and it is a packet of undeniable hits. The Lagos boy kicks off the EP with ‘Casamigos’ ft Tiphyz, a welcome to my home kind of track, where he shows domination over his city and his homeland. Bims does a wonderful expression of the Lagos culture, welcoming his listeners to that wholesome experience. From the music and its energetic rhythm to the infusion of traditional Yoruba music to the lyrics that confirm true nativity and patriotism, he makes a perfect opening to his EP with an introduction to him as an artiste and his background influence. He then follows up with more energy with ‘Amapiano remix’ ft Zlatan. Unorthodox EP is a journey and experienc you must have! From upbeat entertaining dance tunes to good love songs, Bims has got you covered!
