Adebaby: Inhaler
Babatunde Babajide Adewunmi also known as Adebaby is an Afro-fusion artist, born and bred in Lagos Nigeria. His new single, ‘Inhaler’, is a cross-section between Afro-pop and Afro-R&B. The song carries a slow sweetness and caress. Like an Inhaler, it touches fans like a cool and fresh breath of air. Tiphe ft Shoday: Zendaya
Abiodun Abraham, known as Tiphe, is an Afrosound musician from Agbowa, Ikorodu. His breakout, came with a feature on “Enter” by Poppill, leading the artiste to subsequent collaborations. Later on, Tiphe released singles of his own, like “Keep Tapping” and “Tension” (both produced by Niphkeyz), and finally a two-pack EP, which thrust him fully into the limelight. Now, the young artiste is rounding up the year with a new release ‘Zendaya’, featuring Shoday.
Drums and percussion are the power and spice of Yoruba music and Tiphe does great justice to serving its purpose on, ‘Zendaya’. It’s the kind that makes your head swell, and your shoulders and waist move with ease. The song title, admires both his love interest and the famous American actress, comparing her beautiful figure to that of the tall and slender Hollywood beauty. With the mixing of traditional Yoruba rhymes into the music, the song pays total homage to this unique culture of West- African people, keeping listeners in a loop of ‘left, right’, no matter the time or place. Young Nigerian artiste, Dekoad, also referred to as ‘Young Boy Anoti’ has just released a new single called ‘Pre-order’. The track is an Afrobeats jam with a sprinkle of Salsa rhythm. TML Vibez, DJ 4kerty: Pawon Boy Vol. 1
TML Vibez is a talented Nigerian singer and songwriter, who rose to popularity from his hit song, “Goated”, a lush and lively single featuring Seyi Vibez (a clear inspiration to the artiste’s music style). Since then, he has bagged a couple of EPs under his belt and continues to make significant strides in the music industry. He has just released a new EP, featuring Dj 4kerty and the two creatives seem to have a clear understanding of each other’s sound and are simply a match made in heaven, going toe to toe with vocals and rhythm.
