Hello there! It’s…yes you guessed it, another round of Artistes of the week. We’re rounding up this month of May with spicy new artistes to carryall through the week, till the next time we see you and perhaps even beyond? This week we have artistes like Snowchild, Olummy gold and many more.

Olummy gold: Trabaye

Hot new artiste Aruleba Olumide, professionally known as  Olummy Gold, has just put out his fresh and addictive new single, Trabaye. Trabaye, is a pure mix of traditional and modern juju music. The artiste, Olummy Gold tips his hat to the richness of Yoruba culture from the beautiful lyrics to the lovely inclusion of African folk music. On this new single, he explores themes of gratitude and motivation for people who have a strong faith and confidence in themselves.

Lifash: Higher

Lifash releases new Afro-pop single; Higher. Nothing short of good rhythm and good vibes, the song preaches enjoyment and transcendence. LiFash, is a dynamic artiste with a natural perspective about good melodies and rhythms of every sound. Check out his latest release; Higher.

Aje the Realest: On boiz

Aje the Releast, otherwise known as Aje, is a Nigerian Afro-fusion/Afro swing recording artiste who derives pleasure from making music. Blessed with a very unique voice, he stands out for his lyrical delivery and storytelling abilities. Following the release of his standout EP, F.L.A.I.R, the artiste has constantly been gaining massive insight in the music industry. He has recently released a new single titled, ‘On boiz’. On boiz, is an easy, simple feel good anthem for the boys, a praise and recognition anthem, perfect for when you’re out partying or simply hanging with the guys. Check out, On boiz!

Snowchild edge: No drama

Snowchild Edge is a Nigerian born, Canadian-based artist. His musical sound is rather genre-fluid, with elements of Afro fusion nd alternative Hip-hop. Born and raised in Abuja, Snowchild is not one to shy away from experimenting with his sound as he was exposex to a plethora of musical influences, from his parents who played fuji music and highlife in his formative years, to the radio playing local and International top hits. His new record, No drama, is exactly what it preaches; a stress free, good time with No drama. It holds a sweet, incessant fast paced rhythm that’s easy to love.

Sugarbana: Ashes EP

Sugarbana releases beautiful new Afro pop EP, featuring acts like producer Kel P. Ashes EP is a perfect blend and a  total soundburst of beautiful vocals and beautiful music, Sugar bana can be said to have ‘finished work’ on this new project, curating an Afrobeats, work of art.
