AYO MAFF: STREET ANTHEM/7DAYS

We begin today’s round with the incredible singer, songwriter, and performer, Ayo Maff. The new artiste on the block has curated something special in his new two-pack Ep; STREET ANTHEM/7 DAYS . Ayo Maff, totally enraptures his listeners on this EP, as he makes his tribute to the streets and fights against the system, by speaking out on satirical issues like profiling from federal-law agents, and the hypocrisy of looting politicians. Ayo Maff infuses rhythm and contemplation on his tracks, showcasing an unparalleled fusion of traditional Afrobeat and contemporary influences like British Drill music, promising a sonic experience like no other. WONDAH, KEMUEL: Stay

Wondah & Kemuel take us to a world of soft drums, nostalgia, and a peaceful flow of fascinating vocals, on their new track “Stay”. Born and raised in the Southern state of Rivers in Nigeria, Kemuel started his musical journey at the age of 13, when he joined the church choir, playing the piano, Bass guitar, and drums. His love for the arts led him to study, Fine Art and Design at the University of Port Harcourt. Kemuel gained a traction of attention from his sped up cover of Ku Lo Sa . The one minute cover quickly became a fan favorite sensation on social media, due to its sweet, captivating, and most importantly fresh outtake on the hit track. Wondah, is a music producer and composer, who teams up with artistes to create music madness. These two have such a special flow together, that they have worked on a number of projects together like, ‘Alone’, which has garnered over 500,000+ streams, ‘Fresh Boy riddim’, alongside artiste, AttiFaya, and many more. Yung d3mz & Azanti: Falling Again

In his recently released EP, Yung d3mz features Azanti in the track Falling again.The music captures the exact feeling of falling again, the slow dive as you encounter those butterfly feelings and you figure out just how spell-bound you are, with this person. Falling again, is a mesmerizing soundscape, a place you want to stay locked in and experience twice.

Jeriq & psycho yp: Evil twin

Dynamic rappers, Jeriq and Psycho Yp, team up to create the energy-filled rap EP “Evil Twin”. From start to finish, this Ep is place of, power, energy and prowess. Jeriq, has been associated with major acts in the music industry, such as blaqbonez, phyno, Dremo, Dj spinall and many more. He was born in the most derived areas of Onitsha and was determined as an artiste, to stand out through his lyrics and musical trap sound. As an introverted person, music is his own escape. Psycho Yp, is one of Africa’s best fast rising rappers, leading the pack in a new wave of Nigerian Hip hop. Born in Abuja, Nigeria -YP discovered his love for music at an early age that has since influenced his style of rap-sung trap. He launched his career in 2016, with the release of his debut mix tape YPSZN. Check out the heat, Evil Twin.

CKAY: IS IT YOU?/MYSTERIOUS LOVE:

Notorious lover boy and “Africa’s boyfriend”, Ckay combines his raw emotions with African rhythms on his latest Two pack EP, stringing in some vocal R&B influences. Though on different tempos, the music transitions beautifully from the first track (IS IT YOU) to the second (MYSTERIOUS LOVE), moving you from high spirits to a soft, mellow but equally exciting one. Then it leaves you with a caress, done with an effect that makes want more from his artistry. The talented artiste, has cultivated a genre of his own, which he calls “emo afrobeat”. His drive, unique personality, style and music have garnered love and attention from fans and enthusiasts worldwide.
