His background in music can be traced down from his earliest memories with his father and his favourite song ‘Old school’ by Lucky Mensah. He found that he loved when his father sang this song and it helped spark his interest in music. Later on he joined the church choir and also picked up rapping. Years after, he finally pushed a professional career in music. Check out his new Afro-pop song, Puul.

Modim: Eni araye

Nigerian Alternative artiste Modim, drops a hot new track titled ‘Eni araye’. The heavy-metal rock song, is a breath of fresh air in the modern Nigerian music scene, as he introduces a high level of emo energy and forms his own peculiar kind of music. Modim makes an irregular blend of his own cultural language/tradition; Yoruba with traditional rock music, reminding one of the early 2000s punk pop-rock era, with the energy and likes of Blink 182 but with an infusion of Yoruba culture. The sick guitars and drums have you joining in on the artiste’s bleeding pain. Check out Modim and the sensational rock madness of Eni Araye.
