Ayomaff x Fireboy:

We begin this week, hot poised, and ready with the track that has everyone in a frenzy and has been topping its way through chart tables. Ayomaff features Fire Boy on this hot new track ‘Dealer’ and what an exciting feature it is. The two come together with alternate vocals and styles, to create a blend of something utterly beautiful. Fireboy, who is dubbed the “future of Afrobeats”, burst onto the music scene in the year 2019 and has been doing exploits ever since. After his debut hit single ‘Jealous’ and a follow-up Album ‘Laughter, tears and Goosebumps’, In July 2021, he released the hit single ‘Peru’, leading him to accumulate over 150 streams and gaining the number 2 spot on the official UK chart. He also topped the charts in at least 22 countries. Ayomaff, Born Ayorinde Mafoluku Ayodele, is a young musical artiste from Lagos Nigeria. As a fast-rising Nigerian musician, AyoMaff has begun to pave a trailblazing path in his musical journey. His last 2 pack EP project STREET ANTHEM/ 7 DAYS, has gained a lot of traction and has quickly become a fan favorite. He has gained a lot of interactions from celebrities and people alike, setting him up for inevitable success in the music world.  track is a wonderful fusion of Afropop, Afrobeats, and a bit of fuji. Ayomaff takes it away with his fuji latticed vocals and Fireboy does some justice on his verse as well. If you haven’t, Check out ‘Dealer’ right now!

Sikiboi- Tissue

Flaming and promising new artiste, Sikiboi has recently released a new afro-pop single titled ‘Tissue’. Sikiboy is an Afro-pop artiste from Port-Harcourt, Nigeria. He debuted with his single, “Anytime Soon”, which gained a lot of traction and popularity in his local community. He has also released a viral Afrohouse-influenced music titled ‘One day’, which was produced by his fellow Portharcourt musician, Omah Lay. One thing we love about our PortHarcourt people is how they stick together and are ready to lift one another at any opportunity. ‘Tissue’ is a sweet lover-boy track, perfect for when you’re in your feels. Sikiboi has a cottony, high-pitched, sweet voice that eases you into your feelings, carrying soft boy energy on the track from start to finish. His vocals and his falsetto style of singing, match the intensity of the lyrics and drive home the intention of the music. Check out Tissue by Sikiboi!

Mc Chido- The One

  This beautiful Afro-pop single is a celebration of love finding the perfect partner for life, and choosing to be with them. ‘The One’ as it says is simply about finding the one, and Mc Chido carries the peacefulness, the comfort of that feeling, nearly drunk in love, into this track. Mc Chido is a Nigerian-based musician who has been recording and performing music around different cities in the United States of America and around the world since 2010. His interest in music started back in his homeland, Nigeria when he was a teenager. It was a gift he picked up from his late mother who loved listening to music and loved to sing gospel songs. He started developing his talent professionally when he went to the USA and has tirelessly worked on developing his craft. Check out his new single, ‘The One’.

Minie- One of One

Minie is a super-talented and dynamic Afrobeats artist hailing from Lagos Nigeria, and has quickly become a rising star in the Afrobeats music scene. Born and raised in Lagos, Minie was exposed to music from a young age, with a wide range of influences, ranging from traditional African music to contemporary global genres. Drawing inspiration from a strong selection of Nigerian music veterans, Minie has developed his distinct style, which pays homage to the roots of Afrobeats with an infusion of modern elements. He is known for his constant mix of captivating musical beats, infectious hooks, and thought-provoking lyrics. His new song One of One, is a unique display of those infectious rhythms and vibrant melodies. Tomi Agape- Full moon

Enthralling musical artiste, Tomi Agape, has just released her new single ‘Full Moon’. Tomi Agape, is a of a kind, Nigerian Afro-soul/fusion born and bred in London. She is noted for her heartfelt and rhythmic songs that blend neo-soul, afro beats reggae, and R&B to tell beautiful stories. As a female artiste, she is not one to shy away from existing outside societal boxes, particularly women in the music scene. Full Moon is an Afrobeats track mixed with beautiful contemporary influences like RnB and Afro-soul. Undeniably, Tomi uses her foreign influence and background to curate something incredibly unique to her expression of Afro beats. ‘Full Moon’, is that slow whine and vibe kind of track with an energy, pace, and aura that is so easy to follow or vibe with. S gee- Premium something

S gee is a promising new Afrobeats and Afro-pop artiste, with a deep-rooted love for music as an art. His new track, Premium Something draws one in first with its exquisite and captivating local drums and then its lovely melody. On this track, S Gee shows a deep love, interest, and respect for his African roots and cultural influences as he mixes both Yoruba and Igbo Nigerian languages on this track. It is a culturally and musically rich song, filled to the brim with colorful rhythms and harmonies; with a notable bass background vocal and a complementing higher-pitched vocal all contributing to the killer melody. ‘Premium Something’, is a song you do not want to miss out on!
