SGaWD: Tha Gawd- Side A

Alternative Afro-fusion artiste, SGaWD, drops her latest album release; ‘Tha Gawd Side A’. Obedo Pf, has just dropped the remix to his hit single ‘Road’, this time featuring new alternative sensation Wizard Chan. The young and talented Afro-fusion artiste Is known for his cool style of singing and sick artistic flows Following the success of his debut EP “On a Ghetto Way” Obedo Pf has continued to work on other fantastic projects, one of them is the latest, ‘Road Remix’. A constant factor in Obedo Pf’s artistry, is in how he pays homage to the streets and his background. The artiste always carries with him, a deep reflection and awareness of how much surviving the streets has shaped his person. For him, his background is a testament to his success story especially in his music journey. He is a strong pioneer for ghetto love and the stories of surviving through the ghetto lifestyle. ‘Road Remix’, like many others is another musical expression of the pain it took to strive and survive, the quiet strength gathered from coming up on his own and most importantly, the pain unshared. Jay Teazer ft lyd: Temptation

Jay Teazer and Lyd hop on a new Afro-pop track together called, Temptation. Jay Teazer, is a Lagos-based singer and songwriter who has cooked up his own smooth, slick and shimmering brand of 21^st century Afrobeats with an R&b twist. His main aim as an artiste, is to make his listeners feel good, to cause a reaction and remind them of nostalgic moments in their life. LYD, is a sensational Hip-hop artiste from the South Eat part of Nigeria. His unique style emits nothing but originality as he uses his music to infuse and disseminate his cultural roots, personal background and real life scenarios into his songs, all contributing to his own authentic sound. Just as the name indicates, The track; Temptation, is a plea to God to be freed and saved from the tempting and alluring beauty of women. The two artistes make a good complementary connection on this track. Where, Jay Teazer carries the song and its hook with his sweet, smooth high pitched vocals, Lyd comes flowing in with his smooth style rap, working a successive magic together.

Zilla Oaks: Cazzzanova

Rodnee Okafor, popularly known as Zilla Oaks, is a Nigerian rapper and emcee who began his music journey in 2011, in his second year of senior High. Fueled by a sheer love for music, he dropped his first mixtape titled, ‘Yours sincerely’, followed by his first album titled @N.E.G.R.O an acronym for “NEW GOD RODNEE OKAFOR”.
